Can anybody give me some advice on fishing ORcas for salmon??   We have a house on the north beach for 2 weeks, starting Thursday.  Help???

I just returned from that area but I didn't do much fishing.  Boats were salmon fishing the deep pocket, just southwest of the mouth of Shallow Bay, between Little Sucia Island and Sucia Island.  Check the chart for the triangle shaped deeper section that points to Fox Cove.  It's almost a 3 mile run from North Orcas to that pocket, so study weather and current carefully if you make the run in your yak.  Good luck.

Dont know what kind of Yack you have, but be sure to check the tides, I remember them being pretty nasty on a big change.
As for the fishing I haven't fished up in that area since I was a kid 25 years ago.
