Me and my girl went out hoping to catch some walleye on the morning bite.  i'm sure glad i have 2 boats  ;). yes that is the sun rising.  This was our first time out here, fishing for Walleye, weren't sure what to expect.  We both got our first Walleye  from kayak- me a 14", she almost 16"- so it was successful as that goes, but no keepers, just a couple pictures. also caught several perch, and a bass, and i'm sure that was at least a 50" muskie that stole my carolina rig up in the flats by the islands- lol. Great day, fished till  about 2, we seemed to catch fish all day.

Caught a small walleye at sunset friday night on a black and silver rooset tail. drifted and trolled a bottom walker tailed with Mack lure chacha squid pink color seemed to work, tipped with nightcrawler.  ended up with 6 perch on Saturday and a keeper walleye at 17'. no pictures because the batter was dead in my phone.  fished from 730 till about 1, or so, my gf got off the water cause she got chilled in the wind (5-12mph) with overcast conditions

NCW thanks for the report. That looks like a real nice body of water. Might just have to check that out some day.
