I am new to the forum, working in Seattle for a while. Back home in Maryland I fish from my Revo or Trident 11. I checked at Alki today they have a couple trident 13's but I am really a peddler, hope that isn't a bad word on here, wondering if there is a shop on the water that rents Hobie's? I work down at Harbor Island and saw the fish jumping today and about 100 guys fishing shoulder to shoulder under the west seattle bridge, decided I need to get out on the water to avoid the crowd.

Any info would be appreciated, brought my favorite reel, purchased a license yesterday.

There's a kayak rental near  the West seattle Alaska junction--nice folks, they cut me a deal on some tiedowns.

So there's still some humpies around???

Someone told me they were humpies, several boats on the water and a couple kayaks, row boats, sea lions or seals also, assume that is why they were jumping.

So I'm new to the area. Where do you go to launch your kayak? Is there a good marina or shoreline to use to access the water?  Would like to go tomorrow.

Fished from shore at Golden gardens today, Eliott Bay was very windy. Anyone having success out there?
