Was turned on to this tournament by another forum.

The only info I could find was

Oct 1-2
"Homer Elks Club
Elks Annual King Salmon Derby  Contact the Homer Elks Lodge at 235-2127 for details"

I hear its $100 bucks per person.  In the past, winner gets 20%, 2nd 15%, 3rd 10%.  Also something about fish closest to average weight.

Could be insane...

Any takers?  The old rules don't seem to limit from a kayak (launch area rules and witness rules).

Weather and work dependent but I think I may do this.  Anyone else?  Anyone?

C'mon.  They are only calling for 13 ft seas today in Cook Inlet (seriously though that is HUGE in the inlet forecast).  Its gotta be better than that...maybe....
