Are these two compatible? You know, like Sonny and Cher? The Edge and Bono? Salma and Penelope?

Thanks for your help!

NICE smallie, Rawk!

Thanks!

BTW, the specific mount that goes with the Cuda 300 is the RAM-B-107-1.
Here it is on Amazon

I've gone ghetto. The inventive and innovative part of me wouldn't let this go. My wife thought that it was the cheap side of me but when I told her it would cost around $30-$40 bucks she said she LOVED my innovative side (the inventive side however, was not mentioned). Thought about some extra irrigation PVC pipe that I had lying around and I figured I could jury rig something for the mount; then I ran into this:

Mine's a little lower in the sail mount than the above picture but I can raise it just a bit if I need to. I'll either drill a hole for the wire near the mount itself or just put the wire under the front cover. I'll let you know how it goes.

Oh, I also took a huge leap of faith and Marine Gooped the transducer. I know, right?

Here is my Ghetto mount for a forward rod holder on the Outback.

I didn't know where I wanted to mount it so, this was to be temporary.  I love how quick I can take it out and stow it so It has become permanent. The foam keeps it snug.

Thanks.  I should probably mention that if a person was to copy it, said person should drill a little hole in the bottom end cap and another hole somewhere above the deck of the boat.  The foam fits nice and snug so if you force it in without these holes, it can be next to impossible to get back out. DAMHIK.  The holes will break the suction.
