Charles, Ken and I are heading out in the morning around 8-ish.  The plan is to hit Johns Creek or Kennedy Creek.  I don't feel like messing with packing up the yaks so we're banking it tomorrow.

Started out at Johns Creek.  Should have had the yaks.  The chum were moving through on the other side of the channel including some nice bright fish.  A slight wind going right to left and a good current going the same direction made fly fishing tough, so I switched over and tried jig/float as well as spinners.  Charles stuck with chovie/float.  No joy.  Very doable kayak launch after a short walk down a narrow trail and across the mud.  Bring an anchor if you plan on fishing the narrows.

Hit up Kennedy Creek on the way home.  We caught 2 fish apiece (released) in the couple hours we were there.  No really large schools coming through.  A couple other guys had the hot hand, but for most of the rest of us, it was a slow pick.  Maybe a bit early still, no big schools like I'm used to seeing here.
