Here is today fishing trip. I tried new territory today above the Canby ferry. Here are four of the fish I caught on a white rattle trap crankbait and a black and red spinnerbait. The water is getting colder it was 56 deg today it will be interesting to find out when the Bass quit biting. It was very slow when I first got on the water at 1 pm and rain/drizzle. At 3 pm it cleared up and the wind stopped and the hook ups picked up.

Great looking fish!  You really have the smallies dialed in!

When are you going to stop playing with kids fish and come join me for Salmon?

Yes, that's an invitation.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.  --Mark Twain

Well I am leaving for Denver on Sat and will not be back till the end of the month. If the invite is still good until then, I would love to join ya. As for kids play. Its a combo of short drive, great seenary, and lots of action that keeps me going back to the smallies. Not to mention that when I try something new I like to get good at it. This is my first year Bass fishing. My real love is Steelhead. :wav:

Cool report.  When they stop hitting crankbaits go to a jig and trailer and fish it slow.
