Anyone up for Silver Lake (Cowlitz County Washington) this Sunday? They just stocked it with 5000 trout and I heard from a couple of guys they are catching Crappie. They may not be big, but I want to get some AOTY points on the board...

I can't fish this weekend.  I was at silver lake a few weeks ago and the perch, crappie and tiny bass bite was pretty good in Streeter Canal.  There is a tree blocking the south access to Streeter Canal.  I dragged my kayak around it, but you can still access the canals from the north.

Nate, glad to hear you have a WA license. We'll have to hit some spots together when I get back from FL.

I drove up to Silver Lake on Sunday and all I can say is it way a nice drive. The water was pretty clear, but wind and one foot white caps was all that was going on. I tried to fish for about an hour, but the wind made it to difficult. I will try agian in March and see how it goes.
