Picked up my yaks yesterday, and took them out for the first time.  The name says it all "pro angler".  I bought a hitch extended for my dodge ram, and am able to get both of them in with a little help from my wife.  I can get one in no problem.  Drift sock and anchor trolley seem like a must.  The wind was pretty calm and was able to set a good drift paralleling the bank.   The fishing was pretty slow.  Couple fish rising.  I saw one rainbow the size of a freakin beaver.  Tested out my go pro hero 2 as well...  Very nice, just hope to get a fish on video soon.  Definitely wanna go out for lings as soon as that opens up.  May go after some rezzies and coasties next weekend.  Glad to finally be out on the water with all of you.  Let me know if anyone wants to go out anywhere in my area.

Congrats on getting your kayaks and getting on the water.  You could not have asked for a better weekend in February for a maiden voyage.

Two battleships?! nice vessels. Don't forget to bend at the kness not at the waist,  Those things are heavy! If i was a decade or two younger and had a better back i would have one..

Does the wife kayak fish too?
See ya on the water..

If he's not careful, he'll find out soon enough how them kayaks breed like rabbits, too!

That's why I went for the PA.  I don't think I'll need to get a different fishing yak after these.  I am sure everyone says that though.

Yeah, keep telling yourself that.   ;)

If you ever enter one of these kayak tournaments, you run the risk of a new kayak following you home.   ;D

Thanks for the photo, Islandson671. I don't think my wife will ever complain about having just two kayaks ever again.

"Oh, honey! Come and take a look at this guy and see why you're the luckiest girl in the world!"

Second time I've had to say that in the last 5 years...
