I was there today. Talked to some people at the Next booth. The Hobbie guy and a person that worked there. Nice people. Lots to do there.

I have not attended this event before. Could someone give me a heads up on how much time I should plan on spending there if just interested in looking around, not necessarly buying anything. ?? Thanks in advance....
Dale I was there for 3 1/2 hours and I went through quickly. I did sit through 2 bass fishing seminars that were a half hour apiece. I did not spend much time buying stuff and the stuff that I did buy I knew what I wanted so it was a quick pick up. Give it 4 hours and you should be just fine, there is allot of stuff to see. Parking was non-existent so I parked by PIR and took the max train down and back saved me 8 bucks on parking.

I'll be at booth 1118- Wilderness Unlimited, its on the corner of one of the central aisles in Hall E. Right next to Cutco Knives. Come by , say hi.

Pretty crowded yesterday, it only gets busier as the week progresses. I get to tour the show Saturday afternoon. I take 5+ hours, but I hunt and fish, so I like to stop and mess around with a lot more junk. Sure are a lot of pretty women there.  :o Some of the guys there married WAY out of their league.  ;D

I don't want to hijack the thread, but Cutco seems to have a very loyal following. Anyone have their knives? They come to YOUR house to sharpen them for you. Talk about customer service.

My Dad is wandering around there today.  I told him to stop by the Next booth and say hi for me.  Be nice to him, and mention not the exploits of the Chum Bucket.  Seriously.  Don't.  He's a dad and would still slap the cr@p out of me for my misgivings.

Cruised through today in about 3 hours.  Of course, I didn't do any shopping, and was really just there to see some folks....
that and I was totally distracted by a delivery I was waiting on sitting at home...

A great time at the show talking to a lot of new people was super fun. Judging by how many people stopped by kayak fishing is just getting bigger and bigger in the NW.

Also wanted to say thanks to the NA boyz for a great time last weekend at the sportsmans show. Afterward the food beer and entertainment was top notch! You guys really know how to party in PDX!
