Quick late report from Saturday. Just me and PNW showed up early and we trekked to Simpson Reef. the fishing was painfully slow for me all day pretty much but the few i causght were decent, 25 inch ling and a 21 inch Cabbie were the highlights. Paul did alot better and ended up with his limit.  Best swell conditions of the year so far!

*I think i imay have been able to save a bonker but will have to get a non partial judge on that one, i didn't get a pic on a measure, just a vid grab...It was an 8-9 inch blue rockfish

See ya on the water..

On a side note, My shoot through transducer goop job worked flawlessly! was really happy with that. wasn't happy with filming vid for 2 hours and only having the small blue on there. caught both nice fish after i killed the battery...Of course!

You need about three or four more of these bad boys:
http://www.amazon.com/Kodak-Playsport-Digital-Camera-Battery/dp/B00367JSKW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1334004661&sr=8-1

I carry about four of them and never worry about running out of juice.

attribute that to your working harder for the fish you catch not the new top.

this was fun. I caught 6 lings, 4 were legal size. limited w/ lings & brf. several double hook-ups using my home tied shrimp flies. too bad my camera & radio batteries crapped out. have to remember not to set the radio on high.

CBY caught a nice cabbie & ling. wheres the pics of those?
