I’ve enjoyed reading peoples introductions so I figured I would introduce myself.

My name is Dave and I’ve been on here for about a year now…mostly reading what you guys have to say.  I love being outdoors: whether it’s fishing, kayaking, Mt. biking, archery, backpacking, snowboarding…I LOVE it all!

Up until recently, most of my fishing has been done from the bank in Oregon’s wilderness lakes, rivers, and streams while backpacking.  I have some previous experience paddling whitewater while growing up in southern Oregon near the Rogue, but I consider myself a novice.

I happened upon the Hobies at Next Adventure and was sold on the idea pretty much instantly.  Since then I’ve purchase an Outback and am working on rigging up the boat, slowly getting all the necessary gear, and reading every bit of info you guys put out here…thanks for sharing BTW.

I’m very interested in fishing the salt…can’t wait to get out there.  Other then practicing surf launch/landings, I’ve spent zero time out there so I’m hoping to hook up with some of you experienced guys if the opportunity arises.

Anyway, I’m looking forward to meeting and fishing with more of you.
