Who noticed the subtle changes?  ???

I removed the big user bar at the top of each window and created a new box on the left side which contains links like "Show Unread" and "Show Replies".  It also contains a login prompt if you are not logged in.  Why?  Because it was a waste of space at the top that I never really liked.

I also made the "Recent" box on the left only visible if you are logged on.  It's just a subtle way of having you log in to see features not enabled to guests.  Kind of like "The Shorebreak" forum that only members can see.

The intent is to keep the site very usable to guests (I don't intend to remove/restrict any real kayak fishing info from guests), but at the same time have extra bonus items and usability features enabled for members when they log in.  Expect similar subtle changes going forward.  That is, unless you all don't like it.  In which case, speak up.  I'm all ears when it comes to site suggestions.

I was a bit confused at first, but I like it...   ;)
