ORC 2012 REPORTS THREAD

Pictures were taken of all the winners.  Just look at the EXIF data and go by the times.  ie last picture taken shaking Allen's hand was first place.

Places 1-10 got prizes.  IIRC they said the difference between 10th and 11th was a mere 1oz.  So you might have juuust missed the top 10.

I think that would have been 10th maybe 9th.. I missed 10th by a once or less and if I remember right I had a 9.8 lb ling

snopro must be 9th or 8th. I placed 10th by the one ounce. I honestly don't remember my cabs full weight. Just 9lbs and by one oz. Glad I clamped is mouth shut to keep the puke in!

Also I seem to remember one top ten not being at the ceremony to receive their prize.  ??

I noticed something ironic recently.  Last year 5th place was an 11lb 7 oz ling cod.  Caught by a WA based paddler.  This year, my 5th place fish was an 11lb 7oz ling cod, and I'm a WA based paddler. 

I'm not sure if I'm the only paddler in the top 10, or if anyone else from WA made the top 10, but if those held it would be yet more ironic.

DeaFish was paddling also.
