Brand new to kayaking... and looking for one. :)  Looking for opinion.  Is a Malibu Extreme 15 worth 375? Comes with a paddle and the seat.

I'm not all that familiar with the model in question, but that does seem like a good deal, provided it's in good shape.  That's a nicely shaped, boat, too, and should be a blast to paddle.

I've never paddled a Malibu, but I've helped to carry a couple and I can say they are well built kayaks.

Pretty good price.

Can't answer for that model, but I adore my X-13.

I have a malibu extreme. It is a real gear hauler. Well made and heavy hull. For 375 with a paddle that is a great deal if it is in good shape. The negatives to the boat is that it is very long and doesn't "cut" through waves.Pick up a cart or build one as soon as you get it too. These boats are heavy and large. But, I have so much room that I dont know what to do with it. I have also mounted an electric motor to mine (they have a nice setup to attach one just behind the seat) If you look up my profile you can see how I have rigged mine.
