So I've decided to try the Kokatat T3 Fisherman drysuit.

My question, what do you wear under it? Long underwear and polar fleece pants and shirt? Do you get the body suit they sell for under it and long underwear?

All my stuff is in SEA and being taken to the shipper tomorrow so it's time to start gathering the rest of the stuff...

Thanks!

dan

I got the bunny suit.  This morning I wore that along with another couple layers for my first attempt at Puget Sound halibut.  I like the bunny suit and got it mostly becuase I only have 1 decent set of long underwear (Smartwool) that I prefer to save the wear and tear on for hunting.

+70 I wear cotton T shirt and polyester pants
under 70 I wear polyester T shirt

I add the following depending on the temperature:  monkey man fleece jacket, polyester boxer briefs, fleece pants, gore windstopper hat or the mrcoolguy goretex boonie hat, gloves, extra thick polyester (or blend) socks.

Under my drysuit the last few days I have been wearing, put on in this order:

A long sleeve poly tee
Heavy wool socks
NRS bunny suit
Heavy military poly longjohns
Heavy REI fleece top
Light nylon hiking pants (so I can be seen in public)

*** Drive to launch point ***
*** unload yak and gear ***

Toe warmers stuck to the bottom of the heavy wool socks
Smart wool socks over toe warmers and pants.
PULL ZIPPER DOWN ON NYLON PANTS!!
Dry suit
NRS Cross 4 booties
PFD
Light fingerless neoprene gloves
Wide-brimmed canvas fishing hat
Polarized sunglasses
(carry and use as needed - Glacier fishing gloves and a Glacier full hoodie)
(all of the lower body wear has a fly - sometimes, particularly when chilled, it takes a little digging :-)

Yeah, once I wore a pair of fly-less warm ups and nearly performed a self-Bobbit on my relief zipper. And I was on land, would have killed me for sure on the water...
