not fish... kayak.  Several of you know I would love to get a short kayak for the river, but I need the immersion gear first and I don't think I can do another 500 bucks for another yak plus the dry suit.  So, how well would a OK Trident 13 do in the river... class 2 or smaller rapids.  tia

The yak will do fine.  How are you paddling skills?

Take an introductory paddle class at a local shop.  It's the best way to cruise up the learning curve.
