I was gonna try to hit EEL lake today, try to board an early AOTY lead, but the weather  got nasty early. I drove there yesterday and saw about a 26 inch steelie in the fish ladder, the exit was closed so i'm trying to figure out what they do with em..I assume they release them into the lake?

On my way to the charleston ODFW office to find out whats up..

I'm glad to see the AOTY getting some interest.

Oh yea, psyched...!! Now i just need to actually catch a fish that will register points on my Kayak. I've only caught one little fishy so far..

So,on the steelies coming up the ladder, i found out they take out a certain few specimens for brood stock but most get let in the lake.

I'm gonna try this lake one day this week for sure. It's nice cause the size enables a Yak to cover the whole thing pretty much.
