Got out on the water in my Hobie Revo 13 and made a few passes with both Wiggle Warts and a flasher with a prawn spinner. No luck. There were about 25-30 boats out on the water (no other Kayakers). Forgot my Marine Radio and my wader bootie/shoes. I had to go without but it wasn't too bad. I need to put them in the truck in case I head out again tomorrow although the way the wind's blowing right now in The Gorge, I don't think it'll be the case. I only saw 3 other boats bring fish to the net. I'm sure there were more, but in the 6 hours I was there, it didn't seem like too many.

Had a momentary take down, but before I could get my hands on the rod it stopped bouncing. I had my KoneZone working for a bit but then it tangled all up into my sinker. It was too windy to make a switch on the Lake so I had to park on the bank for about 5 minutes so that I could remind myself why I don't knit.

Although I liked the strike I got with the KoneZone, I didn't want to spend all of my time re-rigging on the bank. I went with another flasher but didn't get any other strikes. After the wind kicked up, there were about a dozen boats that took shelter and put on their bobbers with prawns. Didn't see any success there either. Still, it was a nice time to be out on the water. I'm hoping the wind dies down a bit so I can give it another go, if not, I'll have time to re-work a couple of things on my Hobie.

Hey, True, how does the addition of all those platforms and other gizmos the Yakima tribe installed there affect the fishing for everyone else?  Havent heard much about that from anyone since it happened. But then, i'm not a member of many of the PB oriented sites, either.

I don't think it affected the PB crowd too much. If anything, it cut back the number of options that the bankies would have. A lot of new wood out there this season for those planks.
