lmao, yeah especially since i seem to be losing the battle of the bulge..i still cant get south of the 250 mark.. thats why i keep lookin for a boat with a larger than 325 capacity.. i wanna fish and not be scared i'll swamp the thing cause i'm too heavy for it..

ok, probably the wrong place to put this [ really wish i understood the filing system here] but i've found another place to find malibu and other yaks, like native watercraft.....which brings up the question, are the offerings of native actually a SOT or just a hybrid canoe???

anywho here's where to look; http://www.kayakcoeurdalene.com/malibu.htm

Native Watercraft does make a true SOT kayak called a Manta Ray.  They also seem to make a more traditional kayak, a canoe, and as Rich mentions a SOT/canoe hybrid called the Magic.  The magic looks like a canoe but has scupper holes so as far as I can tell that makes it a hybrid.

BTW Rich, regarding site organization this discussion is different enough from CoosBayYaker's original topic that it probably deserves its own new topic in either the "Let's talk Kayak Fishing" or "Classifieds".

Native Watercraft  doesn't have any retail outlets in WA.  In Oregon, I believe Alder Creek (http://www.aldercreek.com/).

You can find Malibu's closer to home than Idaho.  Check their store locator app ... http://www.malibukayaks.com/store_locator3.html?referer=http%3A//www.malibukayaks.com/dealers.asp

When in doubt, put it in the "Let's Talk Kayak Fishing" forum.  One of the friendly moderators will move it if them deem it appropriate.  It's not a problem.
