Just got my Outback. Where is a good place to launch from in Portland on the Willamette?

Welcome to the site. The place for kayak anglers to be seen on the Willamette is George Rogers Park in Lake Oswego. There is very often other NWKA members on the water in that area. There is a ramp there that is closed to vehicles. It has a short and steep hill to negotiate, but it has a wide and paved path. There are a couple of launches close by on the east bank, too - Oak Grove Blvd and Rivervilla Park. Younggun & I will be out there Sunday afternoon checking out his new ride.

Welcome to the site. George Rogers is an awesome spot and there is often yakers out there sturgeon or salmon fishing. Sellwood park is another good launch.
