All,

Anybody got a source for a pair of those thigh straps that you use for working the surf?  I don't see them over on KFS.  I've made up my mind that THIS is the year that I'm gonna master that surf once and for all.  To the maximum to which I have it in me to master, anyway.

Stand back, I'm going for it!

If at first you don't succeed....  maybe skydiving is just not for you.

Whoops!  Never mind, I found some:

But I still need somebody else that wants to go out to the coast and work on surf skills some time.

I usually go every summer several times and would also like to work on some surf skills.
I tried surfing in my necky whitewater kayak, but I did not have the roll down so I didn't go out very far.
But now that I have my O.K. Prowler I plan on buying some thigh straps and tackling the surf.

Wish I was on that side of the mountains, 'cuz I would do that with you, Tom.

It burned to watch Charles and Allen go through the surf at Hobuck, while I couldn't get my rowboat through.

Well, that link is where I would have sent you.

BTW, there are breaks closer to home on the OlyPen, perhaps a day trip.  Man the weekends are filling up fast.

Or bring your straps to Sombrio and let's get it on.
