Yummy Korean BBQ, the bastion of Honolulu Korean quick eats, serves a traditional dish called meat jun. Made of beef and pork, it's an egg dipped treat that's fried and served with rice and other Korean nibbles.  I had a craving, but don't eat the mammals...

I had no white fish in the freezer, as I've been racking up miles on the prone and stand up boards, all sans rod.  After a few lengthy excursions, I needed protein, so off to Freddy's I went.

One pound cod, cut into fourths.  Marinate for two hours in shoyu, garlic, crushed red pepper, and white pepper.  LIGHTLY coat in whole wheat flour and dip into a bowl containing beaten egg and chopped green onion.  Ensure a thick eggy coating!  Toss into a heated skillet that has been lightly coated with light olive oil. Fry four minutes a side. I served mine with red quinoa garnished with additional green onions.

Sorry; I was a piggy, and got no pictures. But it was damn good. Highly recommended.

Thanks alot Andy. Now I'm craving fish. Better head to the freezer, remove a piece, and start the thawing process. :)

Ahhh yes, the ME BBQ in Waikiki across the street from the Pacific Monarch.... buy one meal there and it lasts half a week the portions are so generous.

Sounds like a nice recipe AJ,
