Two reasons I love Alaska: No GWS, no snakes.

That is nuts, but it is still a beautiful place to live.

Australia is an amazing place.  30M people in an area about 2/3 the size of the continental US.  Pick your weather, from dusty desert to lush tropical.  Friendly folks.  Beautiful woman.  Manly men.  I'd go back for a long stay.

The tallest mountain, Mount Kosciuszko, is only 7300 feet, so not much alpine terrain, nor temperate rain forest. I'd take New Zealand, or better yet, just stay here. But Australia would be fun to visit.

Austrailia would be awesome to visit; however, in regards to fishing from small, mammal shaped, plastic boats, it would suck to live there.

Ripped the dude in half...then came after the guy on the jetski??  The sharks have serious malice south of the equator.

Another interesting piece of data is that bull sharks attack more humans south of the equator vs north of it.  Must be something in the water

He definitely wasn't "taste testing" or "being curious"

I lived in Christchurch for a year in high school as an exchange student (1994).  If my wife would be OK with it, and I could find a decent job I'd go back there for a 5-ish year stretch in a heartbeat.  Never made it to Oz, but would love to sometime.
