You mean you don't have all three?   ???

Looking forward to your review of the Hoover book AJ.

If youre interested in something ultra light yet still packed full of useful information, pick up
"Kayaker's little book of Wisdom". (Corran Addison)
This book is page after page of short thought provoking statements and quotes that clearly originate from many bungled experiences and lessons learned the hard way. It is great for sitting around the fire with friends and letting its bumper sticker style advice invoke now laughable memories of your own past misadventures.
It simple, fun, and contradicts in a way that balances wisdom and reckless play.
The focus is WW but its easily applicable to any adventure in kayaks and will be especially useful for those who enjoy fishing and paddling rivers.

Some of my favorites were
"All your constitutional rights are lost once you enter the rapid."
"Everyone swims, eventually."
"You cannot escape your problems on the river, but its a great place to solve them."

There are over 350 similiar quotes and it can fit in your back pocket.

Here are a couple books that may light the fire to explore.  I give Fishing in Washington's endless season 5 fish tacos.  A well written guide to fishing in Washington that showcases some of the author's favorite places to fish throughout the year.  It reads like an Angler's Astoria but locations are revealed.  It has a good mix of locations from all over the state. Favorite part of the book was about fly fishing for sturgeon on the Naselle, Have to try that sometime.  Have the Oregon version but have not read it yet.

Kykfshr, your rating of five fish tacos has me wanting to pick up the OR version.  Hydro, that sounds like a fun read.  Off to Powell's I go...

I believe it is the 1998.  When I purchased it, I bought the most recent version.  I can't find it right now to verify.  However, this is the actual cover photo on the book:

If I find it I will edit this post to update it.
