pinks on the fly!

Very cool!  Great pics. Looks like the water was just perfect.

Nice pics. Hoping to get into some pinks myself wednesday morning at the Nile. Up late last night tying a few patterns. Any recommendations of patterns I should add before I go? Tying materials are really picked through in all the shops, no pink midge flash or lazer wrap to be found...

Thanks fishboy, I'll get tying and see what I can do.  Hopefully I'll have something to report. Cheers

Great morning but no fish. Counted as many as 18 guys fishing within sight and the water was boiling with Pinks but they just weren't biting.

Wish I could tie flies that looked that nice!

Thanks bigdood! I learned some new patterns today and got some more materials.  Just gearing up for the pink tourney this coming weekend. I'll post a photo of my new pinks patterns once I get a few tied up

Just got a call from St. Jean's in Campbell River. The pink salmon "Indian Candy" ships Sept. 5 ...
Next summer, I will be sure to lay in a supply of pink laser wrap well ahead of time.
Eager to hear how the tourney goes!
