Noticed there are always fishing boats just offshore in Lincoln City (less than a 1/4 mile). Anyone have any intel on what their pulling up?  The ocean has been flat enough that with right tide exchange you could go out through siletz bay. Last couple of times swells only no breakers. Of course going straight out may be an option also.

Siletz Reef runs from where Nelscott Reef ends (by Inn at Spanish Head) up to the Salmon River.

One of the most productive near shore areas going. Lots of commies fish up there. Also, the charters from DB migrate up there as the smaller reefs closer to DB get fished out as the summer progresses.

It's an unprotected shore break, but there's usually a good rip a few yards N. of where the 'D' River ends, that helps flatten out the rollers a bit. Right in front of Kyllos.

Don't leave any valuables in sight when parked in the 'D' Sands wayside.
