Beautiful fish Mark!

Did you clue that guy in that he was talking to the author of those fabulous NW Sportsman articles?

Or did you say "ugh I can't stand that that guy that writes for the NW Sportsman, he's a total egomaniac." 😄

Spot was not the only one out there steelhead fishing this weekend.  Here is a still of one of my highlights.  This was my first nap.  My camera died before my second nap but I managed to just about lay down with my feet on the bow and my head on the back of the seat.  Nap number 2 lasted well over an hour and would have lasted longer but a motor boat came by.

Thanks guys!  This fishery is boring as hell but can be productive if you find the right combination of water and lure.  Or, if you're like me, you just get lucky.

Grilled with a little salt and lemmon pepper, this fish was goooooood!

Did you clue that guy in that he was talking to the author of those fabulous NW Sportsman articles?

I did ask him what he thought of those articles and his only comment was: "There are too many of them on Washington!".
Before I left, I swung over to his boat to chat for a while and let him know I'd try to get more Oregon articles in there.  He figured it out quick.  He was fun to talk with.  Hopefully we'll hook up for a little Walleye action soon too.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.  --Mark Twain
