A couple weeks ago, I had an opportunity to check out Portland’s Waterfront Blues Festival via Hobie’s new Pro Angler 12 – thanks to Next Adventure Paddle Center.

1st video: testing out the Hobie sail kit on the PA12 along Portland’s waterfront.  This kit also attaches to the full line of Hobie kayaks and is a fun and easy way to try your hand at sailing.

2nd video: an up-close look at the sights and sounds of the Blues Festival by water.  The PA12 turns on a dime and made maneuvering in and out of the parking lot of watercraft a cinch.

  Way cool Micheal,
The sailing looked so easy as did the manuvering in the crowd.Good times.
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

There was no shortage of wacky Portlanders down there on the water. Great place for people watching.

I concur. Unfortunately, when I paused it, it was kind of blurry.
