Went out this morning from Golden Gardens with the intention of dropping a crab pot and mooching/jigging for some salmon.  I deployed my pot at 6:00 and went on a search for bait.  I found only one bait ball and never got bit otherwise except for when I got too close to the bottom, there must be a billion flounder out there.  The wind started to come up a little and I was already tired from yesterday so I called it a day a little after nine.  I was not too confident with a three hour soak but was presently surprised.  The pot was loaded with a variety of keepers and females, all dungies except for one red rock.  I only kept the three biggest but could have had a limit.  Awesome morning, love living in Seattle.

Also, fished around the Lincoln Park area yesterday.  There was a ton of bait compared to Meadow point but all I caught were a couple of small shakers and a handfull of dogs.

Heading down to Netarts Oregon next week for some bay fishing and relaxing. This will be the first time I can take my yak, pretty excited!

There sure are oodles of flounder in the sound!

Nice bunch of tasty crabs, hard to go wrong with the fishing/crabbing combo!

Will try for perch in Netarts.  We usually catch some really nice ones but I have never done it out of my kayak.  Dig a bucket of mud shrimp in the morning and fish the incomming tide and then take a nap.  Cant beat it.
