I don't know about lucky. Unlike us, some of these guys are starting to take this AOTY thing really seriously and have been out on the water at least a dozen times already this year.  Terry lives on Clear Lake where that he caught the above fish and it's his home water so you'd hope he'd be the one to bring that fish in.

BTW, Terry (a.k.a. H20Spider) never looks directly at the camera for these kinds of shots, so you can tell he's pretty excited here.  He also likes to distinguish the large bass from the smaller ones based on whether or not he has a double chin in the photo.  He has nearly three chins in this photo so that fish is huge.

I'm sure they'll be looking at our salmon entries with envy soon enough.

Yep, that's a PIG!! h2ospider is a real bass slayer.I echo B, the AOTY down there is getting serious w/ some major talent and prizes. Not to say that we don't have talent/prizes but just by sheer numbers our chances are much better. And yes, they will be drooling w/ those chinook start coming in. ;)
