Trolled with about five other boats for kings this morning but gave up after a couple hours.  I marked some fish but not many and saw what looked like a guide boat hook up but didn't see it go into the net. About 9:00 I started hitting the docks and weedlines.  Caught about 10 bass on a variety of tackle.  One nice largemouth and the rest were smallies one of which went 19 inches.  I saw several pretty big largies that didn't want to bite.  At one point I caught a small perch on a crankbait and had a really big bass circling below for about 10 seconds.  Overall it was a great day with two solid AOTY upgrades.

The only bad thing about the day was the 17 bucks I had to pay to use the park and launch.  Ouch!

Dude those are nice fish! Were you down at the south end of the lake? I've always been curious about how hard it is to find the kings when they are in there. I saw 12+ boats down there Saturday morning, and it was making me want to go give it a shot. If you are going to try again in the next couple weeks let me know!

I was out there yesterday, also nothing happening in the King department with a dozen+ PB fishing.  I left after about an hour or so, next time I'll stay for the bass those look great.  Thank for the tip.

I didn't pay the launch fee, went to the south end of the park launched near Sammamish SUP and Kayak rental off the small beach outside the swim zone. You'll need to portage about 100 yds from the parking lot and the Discover Pass, but I had no issues.

Wait.  Isn't the Discover Pass good at the south end boat launch?

Nope, but I did see several fish caught. There were at least 15 PB's circling, and maybe 8 fish landed. At least 3 kings in the 20lb range were pulled in that I saw, although they were all pretty dark.
