Guys on Friday October 26th the Portland Chapter of the CCA is having its annual banquet and auction.  These events are very fun with good food, good prizes and good people.  After our showing at the presentation hosted by Ron and myself, which was the largest monthly meeting they had all year, they are hoping a few of us will be attending the banquet.  It is $75 per person and $140 for a couple which includes a CCA membership.  We can also get a table of 8 for $800 which gets us a special recognition, and makes us eligible for a bonus prize.  If any of you guys are interested in attending sign up here (http://www.ccapnw.org/Portland_Metro) or let me know and I will arrange a table or two for us.  Let’s let the CCA and rest of the Portland fishing community know that kayak fishermen are a force to be reckoned with.

Might be in. So far would it just be me, you and your beard?

I would much rather be up a creek without a paddle than down one.

Sinker said he may be interested if he is around, but I would really like to get at least 8 NWKA members there.  Also,  I am assuming he was referring to the fourth definition of a beard.
"The single most manly, and great thing a man can do. "

Nate.  You are a ninja.

I still can't say for sure if I can come.  I will know in about 2 days.

My wife and I could join you at a table.  We are halfway to eight.  If, of course, you are bringing your wife.  I have the Light the Night- Leukemia and Lymphoma Society walk the next day so it will be a full-on fundraiser weekend.  I can walk off that yummy banquet food.  I'm am guessing it will be farm raised (locally) Atlantic Salmon. ;D

My wife may have a school event, but if she doesn't she will be there.

My wife is going.  I promised her that she would have some say in what we try to win.

Just a little bump to remind folks about the banquet.
