After buying a custom trailer a few months ago I made a few modifications to allow it to be a fully functional kayak transporter. It can now hold two kayaks along with a new custom made lockable welded aluminum box for all of my support gear. The trailer tows beautifully, and the storage box (approx 25 cubic ft) can hold all of our gear including fishing tackle & mirage drives for 2 boats. It has made loading and transporting our kayaks very easy.  I attached a few photos. If you want more info I can put you in touch with the trailer and alum box builders.

Water everywhere, but not a drop to drink.

Very nice looking. Dig the shininess as well!

Looks great. I may need info on the trailer. Last week I bought my wife a '06 Highlander and I sold my Suburban this week. She won't let me put the yaks on "her" car. She wants me to get a trailer. The only problem is the length. My ride is 15 foot.

Verrry Nice! I'm starting to rethink the boxes on my trailer.
