The PA12 may be "Lowrance ready" but to be Hummingbird ready it needs an adapter.  I've skimmed the usual online retailers and haven't found it.  Anyone have a lead on where to find one online?  I'd rather not have to resort to ordering from my local shop as the last part I needed didn't show for close to a month and I'd like to get on the water considerably sooner than that. I guess worst case I'll fab the part myself.

I guess I don't exactly understand what is being adapted to what.

Are you trying to use a Humminbird head unit, with a Lowrance 'ducer?
If so, has this ever been done?

If so, do you have a link/image of the part you are looking for?

In the video you can see Morgan installing a Lowrance transducer onto the transducer well bracket.  A Hummingbird transducer is shaped differently and needs a adapter to be installed in the same way.

Problem solved for less than four bucks and one trip to Wilco.
