Scupper aren't made anymore so it rather hard to find a new one. Though it doesn't matter to me as long as it a reasonable price.

Not entirely true.  Ocean Kayak did a limited run last year a a few retailers have some in stock.  Coastal Cycle and Watersports up in Victoria has one on their website.  Not sure if these are the new stock or leftovers of the old stock, which are still found every now and then.

I think there is also a new one in Olympia.  If you're willing to figure out how to get one from Olympia to you, let me know, and I'll check on it.

Thank you for the information. I knew about the run but the only kayak I found out of the run is in Washington state but the cost of shipping is about $200 so with duty and tax I would get killed.

Coastal Cycle and Watersports has it listed on their site but doesn't have any in stock and didn't get one in the run last year. They just have not updated their website it seems in awhile.

I think it was at the Ladysmith Paddlefest 2 years ago that "VictoriaPaddler" bought one from Coastal.  Haven't seen that guy around here in a long time.  Maybe he still has it and may want to part with it.  You can track him down through the members listing here.

Hi Allen!  Yes it's the voice from the past...it has been 2 yrs. since I've logged onto to this site, I'd forgotten my password until yesterday.

I've sent a response to JPPlay, not quite ready to part with my SP yet.  How have you been?  Are you with the 4 guys that fished the Thresher Shark in the You Tube video?
That looked wicked!  Where was that?

VP ;D

VP's back!!!  Nice to see you around here.  Got some stories to tell?

Yes, I'm one of the 4 guys in the SALMON SHARK video fro YouTube.  I would be the one dangling his feet in the water when the sharks start busting the surface right behind me.
