What about the Columbia River Gorge? Any suggestions on what to fish for and where? Thanks in advance - I am still learning the area.
Let them spawn - catch and release.

Hey Fiszka, there's always something to catch!  I went out on the Nisqually delta this AM and got five nice sized Flounder drifting cut herring.

I'm going out tomorrow at Solo Point to try for another Blackmouth...I nailed a 34"-er there last weekend (see my profile picture)

The Nisqually River is a little far to drive from the Columbia Gorge for a day of winter fishing.

As far as the Gorge goes in the winter, the fishing is much slower than in the prime time summer months. As long as the roads are open and the lakes aren't frozen over, you can try for trout at the higher elevation lakes. Be prepared because it's cold and the weather can change quickly. If you get stuck in the snow or mud, cell coverage is sketchy, you're pretty much on your own. The lakes along the Columbia like Tunnel Lake, Spearfish, Horsethief, etc. may have a few holdover trout, maybe you can get a smallmouth bass to bite, but overall, the winter fishing here in the Gorge is pretty slow.
Steehead fishing is open on the Klickitat River until next weekend, but recent rains have clouded the water and it is running high and fast.

Hey Adam12, are you floating the Nisqually or fishing the delta/mouth? I've floated between the Lewis tank trestle and Mounts rd bridge or Luhr beach several times earlier this year and had good luck on Kings/silvers. I'm thinking about doing a drift for Chum next weekend...let me know if you want to meet up.
