Hi All —

I'm a new kayak angler in Vancouver, BC.  I have a Hobie Outback that I really enjoy using.  I'm in the process of some modifications (rod holders, etc) and appreciate all the tips and help that I get from reading the message boards.

What I like the most about kayak fishing is how many more opportunities for fishing it gives me.  I do a lot of river fishing here when the salmon are in the rivers, but now I can do more stillwater fishing, river fishing, and even ocean fishing!  I just read the article on NWKA about downriggers on a kayak, and am excited to try it out when the winter springs get here in a month or so.

Look forward to all your advice, and as I learn more and get more experience in my kayak, giving some advice back!

Hopefully I'll see you all on the water.
