Hello all ,

this is my first post on this site, but for months I have spent time reading old posts and I appreciate the information and contributions people post here. I’m fairly new to kayaking. My first adventure was in 2010. My buddy had two tiny old town kayaks and we fished the Williamson River and Agency Lake in southern Oregon. I work near Klamath Falls and have since kayaked/fished the Sprague, Klamath and Deschutes.

Welcome into the light Smearnoff!  Glad you've found our crazy ramblings helpfull.  How's the LMBass fishing down your way?

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.  --Mark Twain

Welcome.  I like your handle.  And you sure have some nice fishy places near you.

I've caught a few giant Williamson rainbows and spent some great days on the Keno stretch of the Klamath River fishing from a guided, modified raft.  (Not recommended for kayak that stretch.)  Darren Roe from Roe outfitters is a great source of fishing info in your area.  Enjoy and post plenty of pics.

Welcome from another Klamath Falls Kayaker. Some other good spots are Rocky Point and Four Mile lake. We also like to fish Diamond lake  especially on derby day and float the Wood river. I have a yellow Hobie Outback and a yellow wilderness 120 Tarpon.

It's alright if you know where to look. I've found good bass fishing east of kfalls in spring fed rock quarry ponds to be good.

The water at Rocky Point is awesome. I like putting in at Odessa creek.

Another good spot to put in is Malone Springs on the East side of Klamath Lake and go North to Crystal Springs or South to Rocky Point
