I see and read about "team" this and that... what exactly are the teams?  Just something fishing buds make and maintain?  Did you buy something from the retailer and become part of the team?  Invest? Or is there something more?  TIA.

Are you talking about teams like Hobie Fishing Team, Next Adventure Fishing Team, etc?

They are sponsored in one way or another and belong to said Team.

Well, except for Team Bridgeport.  Hydrospider and some of his friends have done the Team Bridgeport thing for a long time.  They get together once and year and go all out having a great old time.

There's also Kayak Wars, an annual national competition. NWKA has 3-4 teams representing in the Northwest Region. It's free and fun.

Thanks for thinking of us Allen.
For the record Team Bridgeport is a volleyball team that enjoys fishing from kayaks.

Not bad. NWKA 1 got first in the Pacific salt division, thanks mostly to CBY. However, NCKA took the combined fresh and salt title with NWKA 1 placing in second and NWKA 3 placing in third.
