Nice vid.  What mount are you using for your camera?

thanks for the positive feedback! 1 mount is just a regular on my storage box and the other was a telescopic monopod I got from walmart for 20 bucks. mounts right into a scotty fly rod holder. too bad the video cant be viewed from apple products?? works fine on PC.

Chris do you have a link to a page on the WM site that shows that telescoping mount? I'd like to get one.

Rory - here's a link to a write up on converting a monopod for a camera mount.
http://palmettokayakfishing.blogspot.com/2012/02/kayak-fishing-monopod-conversion-for.html

From the post:
"An aluminum Targus telescoping monopod is the main component of the build; specifically, the TG-MP6710 model that can be found at Walmart ($15) or Radio Shack ($12.99). Target sells one as well – the TG-MP7010 ($13.79)"

I'm guessing you could search Targus or the model numbers to find the pod pretty easily.

Be sure to browse the rest of the Palmetto site too, the guy has some good ideas and I've noticed that he's regularly mentioned on here because of it.
My wife thinks fishing is merely guys wandering around like idiots swinging sticks in the air. Many of my trips prove how smart she really is.

I found this last year and replicated this guy's design. I love it. Simple, cheap, and works like a charm
