Here's a press release from last July.  The word I have is that you should start seeing these products on the shelves this month.  If you're bargain hunting, I know there are some closeouts going on for the products made of the older material.

Kokatat introduces new Hydrus 3L fabric

ARCATA, CALIFORNIA, July 17, 2012 – For the spring 2013 paddling season Kokatat is introducing a new collection of dry suits, dry tops, and paddle wear featuring Hydrus 3L the newest generation of Kokatat three-layer waterproof breathable fabric technology.

“Made in our Arcata, California factory to our exacting standards, Hydrus 3L suits are a great option for the budget minded paddler,” said Jeff Turner, Kokatat sales and marketing manager.

This new three-layer fabric is exceptionally waterproof and breathable, and features a strong and durable Nylon outer layer with a DWR finish for superior waterproof protection.  The middle layer has a proprietary polyurethane micro-porous coating and a soft polyester inner layer helps transport moisture for superior breathability.

The Hydrus 3L collection includes versions of the Kokatat Meridian dry suit with relief zipper and socks, Whirlpool Bibs, Tempest pants as well as the new Stoke dry top. The Stoke is Kokatat’s next great all around dry top. It features modern lines, a dual adjustable neoprene outer skirt, self-draining zippered chest pockets with a convenient key lanyard, and has latex wrist and neck gaskets.

Kokatat Hydrus 3L garments are backed by a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.  The complete collection of Hydrus 3L products will be available nationwide in January 2013 through Kokatat’s retail partners.
