I'm new to posting and am in the Gig Harbor area. I'm looking for info on fly fishing from the kayak. I have and use an OK Prowler 13 and have been chasing SRC's off and on for the past year or two. Anybody wish to share tips/techniques, success, good launch sites? I also want to go after resident coho and their cousins when they are in the neighborhood. Any yakkers in the GH/Tacoma area?
common sense isn't

  Welcome to the cure woolybooger.
There are quite a few guys in your neck of the woods....patience...they will sound off soon.
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

Glad to see another fly angler. Have you talked with folks at Emerald Waters? http://www.emeraldwateranglers.com
I have found them helpful with both locations and general fly fishing tips. They are also getting into some kayak fish guiding. I have friends up there and visit somewhat often. I will shoot you a pm if you are interested having company on a trip.
