Greetings from NC

Hello NWKayak Anglers. New member from NC here. I fish the coastal area for Puppy Drum, Speckled Trout, Flounder and Striped Bass mosty. Even though I target different fish then most on this forum, I decided to join for I love to learn new techniques and ways to kayak fish and this forum seems to be full of that. I have 2 kayaks, A Wilderness Ride135 and Ocean Kayak Manta. Both are older model kayaks I bought used and I take out the OK Manta most of the time for it's the only one out of the 2 that has a rudder, better comfort and faster. My trips range from quick strikes that are an hour or less to full day 10hour plus days. I grew up a surfer but have become addicted to kayak fishing and spend most of my free time doing that. I look forward to sharing and most importantly, learning from yall. Rock on, banjo style!

Love NC...was stationed at Camp Lejeune for a while and as a kid used to summer in the Outer Banks.  Cut my surf fishing teeth on those beaches long ago.  Can't wait to see some pics of your adventures!

Small world. OlySpec, if you check the photo's I just posted in the 2012 picture thread, about 90% of those fish were caught within 5 miles of Lejeune.
