Next best thing to fishing is talking about it! Come to the Sportsman's Show this weekend and come say "HI!" to our Heroes on the Water team at booth 430.

Amen brother!

You're preaching to a pretty big choir here. I bought a new Okuma Coldwater reel at the show, and I got my eye on a new bottom fishing rod over at Fisherman's. Need to get the new stuff broken in. Got all my beach cams and surf & weather reports bookmarked, and am checking them every day. Told the boss that this year I'm taking days to go fishing in the middle of the week. Bought 5 gallons of Roundup to sprinkle on the yard whenever something starts to grow. Now all I need is Poseidon to cooperate a little bit.

There are salt fixes out there right now!  Break out a map/google earth and do some exploring, not all saltwater fishing is west of the jetty tips.   ;)

well I certainly messed up....went down to long beach to do some work on the PB and dig clams so I left the yak at home, turns out the water was beautiful so we tried to do some fishing and crabbing but ended up having issue's with one of the engine's batteries so couldn't even leave the harbor  :'(......no yak and trouble with the boat = no fishing/crabbing....I knew I shoud never leave home without my kayak

I feel your pain bro.  At one point I had 3 boats at the same time, and they all did that to me once in a while. Now they're not my problem. And I fish whenever I want. Less is more.
