Welcome...if you are interesting in fishing Henry Hagg Lake this spring, drop me a line and we can fish together if you want fishing partners.  Have Hobie Outback and a group of us fish all over for bass, sturgeon, steelhead, springers, trout.  Would welcome another.

Well, if you'd have asked me about fishing Hagg last fall, I'd have told you I'd be chasing bass anywhere, but there this season. I caught bass when I fished the Columbia, Tualitin and Cullaby last year, but I'm almost embarrassed to admit that Hagg put the bass skunk on me 4-5 times.  I'm aware of the size of fish that live in there, and doing a Hagg habitat improvement project with OR Bass and Panfish/ODGF a couple weeks ago renewed my vigor to hit it again.

MuskieHunter, I accept your invite.  Thanks! Looks like I'll be out of the country on business for the opener at Hagg, but back by mid-March.  Yes, I would like some kayak fishing partners...that's one of the main reasons I joined NWKA.  Please let me know when you're going there or anywhere else that you'd welcome some fishing company.

By the way, nice Smallie!

Good grief! That's one heck of a 'bow compared to anything I saw caught out there! - length and/or weight please if you have the numbers? I saw one on a stringer about 18" opening weekend, but all I caught from Hagg were a couple little stockers that hit jerkbaits etc that I was throwing for bass.
