I use these for bottom fish - bass, ling, cabs, greenling. I know one of my friends got a halibut with one, but he was t fishing for halis.

Nicely painted jig heads like those sure do not come cheap.  Do you buy bulk and paint them yourself ?
I used to think that Bigfoot might exist. Then I saw the reality shows where they are looking for them.  Now I am certain they don't

Those are some cool looking jigs. I like the patterns and colors.

Further up the page it was noted that jigs arent cheap. What do you guys pay for jigs?  i just hand him money and he gives me a bunch of jigs at this point. So I've never paid attention to the price per jig.

Nice. Does your friend pour the plastics also? Interested in trade for shrimp flies? I'll bet one of my hand tied flies would work well for some double hook-ups above one of those jigs.  :)

He pours the lead, colors and pours the plastic too. I could ask him about trade. I would guess not.  But it never hurts to ask. Can you pm me a pic I could show him?

Very cool. Jig heads are about a $1.00 to $1.50 a piece, depending on the size. Then a plastic body (either scampi or a big hammer) is another $1.00 to $1.50. So figure 2-3 bucks per jig. Unpainted. What's your buddy charging?

Jig cost depends on components used. Some of my jig heads cost me $3.50 each some cost $7.19 for 25 so about $0.29 each.
