Looks like there are a lot more options coming available soon.  Kinda nice!

That is pretty slick. I would love to play around with one. This worried me a bit:

"However, Sony cautions that the device's port covers need to be sealed up tight for its claim to ... well, hold water. The phone's micro-SIM slots, micro-USB and headphone sockets all have little rubber-lined port covers"

It reminds me of my recent problem with my Lowrance Elite 4 where the SD slot cover popped open in the surf frying my fishfinder. I ended up gooping that slot closed but that may not be an option on a phone since a phone needs to be charged.

So your saying the nightmare of going into the cell phone store just to have them point out the water indicator inside somehow changed to red is over ???     ;D

I used to think that Bigfoot might exist. Then I saw the reality shows where they are looking for them.  Now I am certain they don't

I have one too. Put a little kevlar loop on it to which I clip a float when on the water. I'm hoping they eventually update it.

I have had commando for 2 years now, I do construction and have dropped it, stepped on it, dropped it in water and live here at the coast, it is still the best phone I have purchased. I just talked to a Verizon rep and he said the samething about a commando 2 coming out. I can't wait, but I really don't need it cause this one is bullet proof.
