New Hobie Peddler

  Super happy - just purchased a Hobie Oasis (tandem) from Next Adventure - SHOUT OUT to all of the great guys up there who helped me get the kayak of my dreams! I'm 52, proud mama to a ten year old daughter, and we are ready for paddling adventures and fishing trips anywhere in the state. Summer is coming! Met Rawkfish at NA - wonderful smile, very friendly and informative guy. THANKS for all of the info, dude, and for telling me about this site

Welcome! You're going to really enjoy that Oasis. I bought one last year and am able to take either of my kids out fishing or just basic kayak trips with my wife. Also fishes solo adequately.

We've caught trout, bass (my son won the nwka bass tournament last year out of it), crab, and sturgeon so far. Attempted some springer fishing with the group last Saturday with no luck.

Yay! Welcome!  I'm always thrilled to see other female addicts -- Mom and Daughter combo is very cool to see.  Lots of fun awaits you two. And you'll really love that Hobie. I love this site -- I ask lots of questions, gets lots of answers and food for thought, and never am made to feel ignorant or out of place.
