3 strikes you're out!!!  >:(

Launched from Madison park at 6 last night.  Was briefly stopped by the lifeguard who informed me that it was against the rules to launch from a Seattle Park beach.  I put on my sweet talking face, and chatted him up a bit, asking about the rules.  Jim (the guy in the SIK double from Tuesday morning) was launching as I pulled up so I also asked the lifeguard about that.  Finally he let me launch.  He had also said I could launch from the dock at the end of Madison street, which was my backup plan, although it's 3 feet off the water.  There were stairs I probably could have used.

Anyway, flat calm evening.  I paddled the south side of 520 out to about the tower and circled back.  Was marking almost nothing on the FF and saw only 1 caught.  Jim had one take down that didn't stick.  I had a nice paddle.  That's it, I give up on sockeye.  No fishing for me today or this weekend.  I'm off the the San Juans with the girlfriend.  I need to make up some GAF after fishing 4 times in the last 5 days.
